Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum

After an extensive city sightseeing tour we'll visit The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum offers an overview of art from Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, Rococó, Romanticism to the modern schools and Pop Art. It features works from movements not represented in state-owned collections such as Impressionism, Fauvism, and the experimental Avant-garde of early XX century. A unique collection in Europe. The Thyssen-Bornemisza Collections are open Tuesdays to Sundays from 10am to 19pm. Mondays closed. The Galleries will be emptied five minutes before closing time.

Tour departs from Trapsatur Terminal, 7 San Bernardo Street, Madrid. The closest metro stations are Santo Domingo (Line 2) and Callao (Lines 3 and 5), located 2 and 5 minutes walking distance respectively from the terminal.

The Museum is closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. Opening hours on 24 and 31 December are 10am to 3pm.
